It's been a really long time since I've stopped through here, so I figured I'd do this silly tag. Sounded like fun!

4 shows I watch:
1. Grey's Anatomy: I fell in love with show around May-ish, when they were showing the season finale of season 6. Ever since, I've been obsessed. My best friend always watched it, but I never got into it. I've been super stuck on catching up on all the seasons. I just can't get enough of it!
2. Desperate Housewives: LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. I also didn't get in to this show until 4 seasons in. I'm weird when it comes to it, always sucked in after it's over or right in the middle. My friend Shelby and I make a date every Sunday to watch it together. Were both crazy about it. Great series!
3. Sex & The City: I love watching the reruns, I love the movies, I love everything about Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte & Miranda. It never gets old!
4. CSI Las Vegas: I've been a fan since day one. I've been watching it Since I was 14 years old and a loyal fan of Gill Grissom. The day he left, the day the show died for me. I still watch the reruns but I don't like the spin offs or Lawrence Fishbourne. No thanks. William Peterson pleaaase =D

4 things I'm passionate about:
1. My family: Especially now more than ever. I need the support of them and they need it from me. Our family is going through a long rough patch of illness and it can only get worse before it get's better. Through think and thin.
2. Friends: I have no idea who I'd be or where I'd be without them. They are my second family and every single person in my life is worth being there for. They make me laugh, make me smile, and shower me with love exactly when I need it. There are no better people that I could surround myself with.
3. Kids: I love kids. Both my jobs revolve around them. I can't wait to have my own.
4. Shopping: I love new clothes. I love new shoes. I love new accessories. I love finding amazing deals. I love shopping for friends. It's just fun!

4 phrases I say a lot:
1. Fer sure (Said exactly how it's spelled. I say that maybe a hundred times a day.
2. OkayILoveYouBye (Every phone conversation, parting of ways, emails/comments/facebook ends with that.)
3. What's up buddy! (Friends get this greeting from me on the daily).
4. Seriously (Good or bad reation, givin a lot)

4 things I've learned from the past:
1. Nothing will ever stay the same.
2. The path of least resistance can lead through a mine field.
3. Be careful who you trust and who you don't. You may need to reevaluate people in your life.
4. Love is a battlefield.

4 things I did yesterday:
1. Dyed my hair. It turned out a dark strawberry blonde. It wasn't supposed to..
2. Had coffee with 4 of my best girlfriends and had a complete blast.
3. Finished wrapping gifts.
4. Watched Down To You. Julia Stiles & Freddy Prince JR like ten years ago.

4 places I would love to visit:
1. Australia: I want to visit it so bad. I just love everything about it.
2. New Zealand: It's SO beautiful there. I'd probably want to do a two week trip to here and Australia all at once. Perfect vacation!
3. England: Or all of europe. But I'd love to ride on a double decker bus, drink tea and see where the Queen lives!
4. The Carribean: Beaches everywhere. Give me a drink with an umbrella in it and were golden.

4 things I'm looking forward to:
1. 2011. I'm ready to ditch 2010 and have a new start.
2. Christmas. It's my favorite holiday & this year I'm determined to not let anyone or anything ruin it. The past 4 years had there ups and downs on Christmas and this year, no sir. It will be great.
3. A new out look on love, life and all things that make me happy. It's been due for too long.
4. Moving out of my hometown. Hopefully 2011 will bring a new start somewhere else!

4 things I love about winter:
1. Snowboarding: My favorite thing to do this time of year. I can't wait to make it to Bear Valley and Lake Tahoe. Just need the $$$$ first!
2. During the holidays, a lot of people come home and a lot of people are off work. Bring on parties and socialness!
3. Starbucks spiced carmel apple cider. Pair that up with some milk chocolate grahm crackers and it's perfect.
4. Snuggling up under my down comforter and piles of blankets. I could stay in bed all day.

Hmm... so now it's my turn to tag 4 people! I vote:
1,2,3&4: Anybody!

Can we call this improvement?

I stopped in on this thing twice in under a month! I believe that calls for a mini-celebration, no?

Well, I'm 22 now. Nothing new other than that. Been hanging out a bunch, having a good time with friends. Enjoying the single life =) The picture below is basically what I've been up to. I live off the Delta and every weekend during the warm months there is a guaranteed party on a little island called Ski Beach. I love all those people, too<3

Life is still sitting in a weird place, but the longer it goes, the more normal it feels. I got a new job for summer and I'm trying to ease into that. Other than that, same old same old.

Hopefully in coming day's I'll have something to blog about!

It's been all too long.

I've been quite neglectful of this thing the past couple months. I just really haven't felt like blogging about my life. Mainly because I had nothing really good to say about it.

I still have amazing friends, amazing family.

I've been having a good time going out and doing things with people I enjoy. I'm just doing it solo now.

Three years and three months of relationship has been put in a little box in my closet. It can probably still be worked out, but right now, I just don't have the patience to do it. I've decided to leave the ball in his court to see where he wants it to go and if he can make it happen. We're still friends. we still hang out all the time. We're just not together anymore.

I never thought it would be hard on other people. I mean, on us obviously, but some of our friends are still having a hard time believing it.

It's an weird period in life these days. Hopefully I'll stop in here more often =)

I hate bills

I hate bills just as much as the next person. It just seems like when you're younger, companies and the people working for companies seem to just want to work against you and frustrate you to the point where you'll pay them anything just to keep a cell phone on, insurance instated or just to keep a car in your driveway.

I've spent all afternoon on the phone with Zach's insurance company as "Mrs. DiNicola". They told him one thing and now are saying another. They want a whole ton of money we don't have and that he doesn't owe. I finally got a woman to give me a number to his agent and now she has a completely different amount he owes, much much less in fact!!

I just believe it is totally amazing how they treat 'valued customers'. I got hung up on, yelled at and talked down to by 3 different people. They offered zero help or even letting me talk to a manger. Ah!

I need to move away from California. It's just too expensive to live here. I love living here, but if everything is so impossible to pay for, count me out.

Pictures!

Here's some pictures from his birthday. They're all from diffferent parts of the day!

There weren't as many fron the party as I thought! But he had a great day & it was fun.

Whoops =)

I kind of fell out of the blogging loop for awhile. Sorry! I have no real excuse other than I've been out being 21. I've fallen into a new group of old and new friends and I've been out having a blast these past few weeks. It's weird how things work when you live in a small town. You're friends with some people, somehow you end up drifting away and then boom! There they are again.

Our holidays were great. Zach and I got a new cell phone plan together and some spiffy new phones along with it. I adore it so far. The only thing that sucks is our phones are now identical. It gets confusing when you have the same text alerts and voicemail rings. Haha =)

We also got a flat screen TV. Our old one just wouldn't kick rocks and die. It was sucking up a ton of energy and we needed one with an HD receiver built in so we could get cable channels back.

I also got to spend time with my best friend from high school. She flew home for a few days from Colorado and we had a blast going out and everything while she was here. We never get to visit very long but every minute is better than none!

Cody, Zach, me, Shelby & Lex.
Zach turned 22 last Saturday!! I managed to get him this year with a surprise party & for the first time, he had no idea. It was awesome. The past two years, his old friends couldn't really keep it a secret and would ruin it. We've got awesome friends this time around and they made his birthday amazing. Our good friend Cody helped me keep him distracted all day Saturday and took him out. He for sure helped me pull this off so he's pretty much my new best friend! The picture above was taken in the wee early morning of his birthday. I'll have to post pictures in another entry of the actual party.

In other news, I have a job interview on Friday morning. I'm really excited. If I get it, I'll post details. I don't want to get my hopes up just yet. It's a rainy day and I'm cooped up inside. Blog, I promise I won't neglect you again =)

Tis' the season.

For kids to be bratty, adults to rationalize big purchases and a lot of money flowing to only God knows where.

Zach and I went to Best Buy yesterday, of course JUST to look. Right? We ended up leaving with a 32 inch flat screen TV. I hmm'd and haa'd all the way home. My dad tends to over-react when one of his kids makes a big purchase, and demands to know where money came from and how we could afford that. He gets over it eventually, but not quickly enough for me to be thrilled about this TV sitting in the back of our truck.

We brought it home, wrapped it with newspaper and finished it up with a bow and a note that says "To: Mel & Zach From: Santa". Britney Spears is on my big gift and is holding it's own in the trunk of my car. I'll be moving it tonight.

Hey, it's from Santa. I'm in the clear.
