On second thought..

I've caught cold number two. My head is congested, my throat is so sore, my body just aches and as bad as I feel the need to cough, it doesn't do any good.

Christmas was a little difficult this year. My uncle was rushed into the ER Christmas morning. Besides my aunt and cousin, he has a regular nurse that comes by to replace his breathing tube and catheter and make sure he's doing well. This past week she went on vacation so a new nurse was sent over. She replaced his catheter and later we were told she somehow injured his liver doing it. An infection quickly set in and it made him sick all night so off to the hospital he went. He had a minor surgery and was put into the ICU for two days.

Other than that, my family got pictures done yesterday. I only got to upload two before blogger got difficult with me.

Tomorrow I'm finally getting my cell phone replaced. I tried to get it Saturday but the phone I decided on was sold out. So, I talked to the guy about another and decided to go ahead with it, and surprise! That too was sold out. He sent me to another store that had the phone I was looking for in the next city over that's affiliated with AT&T. Unfortunately, the man who was trying to sell me the phone was rude and kept insisting that I needed to spend two hundred dollars to get the rebate (which was not the same at the first store I went to). I also had to add on navigation for ten extra dollars and he just kept going on and on.

Finally, I flat out told him that I was not interested in paying him all that money for something I could get for less at AT&T if I just waited. I also mentioned on my way out of the store I would never come back and wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

It's been a super long week,that's for sure. Tuesday we're leaving for Orange County, if I can kick this stupid cold. It's definitley not giving up easily.
