I spent a majority of yesterday afternoon cleaning the downstairs up. It's been a disaster for God knows how long. Zach and I had invited some friends over and I was not about to have people in a gross house. We ( well, they) had some drinks and we played pool and had a good time. I'm avoiding alcohol at this point. My prescription says it makes you dizzy/drowsy and if you add alcohol, it makes it worse. So far I haven't gotten dizzy or drowsy, but I want to wait awhile before introducing a drink or two back into my life. It was still fun.
Today my little brother is throwing the Christmas lights on the house, and my dad's getting down the fake pre-lit tree for me to set up. David's allergic to real tree's which is why we have 3 fake ones in our garage. We recently got the pre-lit tree because my dad was tired of spending hours putting lights on the tree the way my mom likes it. In and out of EVERY. SINGLE. BRANCH. I do believe Christmas is being held at out house this year. Zach has to work Christmas Eve, but at least he's go Christmas off. He wants to get us a new flat screen TV this year, and last night attempted to purchase it online with his friend Cody supervising. Then they found out the shipping price and flaked. He said he's going to go to Best Buy tomorrow and scope it out and "bring the damn thing home on my own." I just agree these days.
I guess we'll see. I've got some tree putting up to do!
