These past couple days have been the best.
My friend Nichol came home from Colorado for a couple days. Her brother AJ is home for two weeks, so she really came down to visit him, but I always make sure I see her when she's home.
What's always made us laugh is the fact she knew my boyfriend before we were even friends. She's actually the one that introduced us to each other! Her brother and my boyfriend have been close friends for a long time. After AJ went off to the Army, she had me and Zach over at the same time. We never really said anything and didn't see each other until after she moved to school. That's when I got to know him. She couldn't believe it when I told her about this cute guy I had met and it turned out to be him. Life is crazy sometimes.
The four of us have been just spending some time together the past two or three nights and it's been so much fun. I've heard people say the people that stay in your life the longest are the friends you make in high school. So far, I've found that to be extremely true for myself. All the people I've been friends with after high school haven't really stuck in my life. More for their own reasons than mine. I've always taken the length of a friendship into consideration, because it's those people that have been there and know you best. I wouldn't drop that person for someone I've known for three weeks. But that's how a lot of people my age are where I live. I need to move.
Zach has an early day today. He gets off work at 2:30 and he has tomorrow off. Tonight were hanging out with AJ and Nichol again. Nichol leaves tomorrow afternoon to go back to Colorado and I won't see her again until December 20. Not too long so no reason to be sad. AJ is leaving Saturday and heading back to Germany and he'll be in Afghanistan by December. I don't know when we'll see him again. =[ Thank goodness for myspace!
I'm outta here. Have a good Monday!

I think that my friends from high school make up a majority of friends that I will stay in touch with. There's something about experiencing high school that college can't compare too (and vise versa) and it bonds people. Personally high school was so intimate for me, and I loved it! Now in college, I feel that I'm in a sea of unfamiliar faces most of the time!
I'm glad to see that you are surrounding yourself with good friends and that you are so happy! You deserve it, you know that?
Love you!
