What a day...

Today was overall just a great day. I couldn't have asked for better.

I had a fantastic time cooking with my grandparents, seeing my aunt and uncle, laughing hysterically with my cousins and goofing around after dinner. A significant improvement from last year, and I'm tickled =]

Today also happens to be myself and Zach's two year anniversary. It just happened to fall on Thanksgiving this year, so we went out for dinner to celebrate last week. It was great and today we just told each other happy anniversary. Nothing special and very low-key, as always. We aren't the type to make a big to do over being together for a certain length of time. We'll save that for being married. Hah.

In other news, this weekend will be pretty filled up with things to do. My friend Jessica is home from Davis and we've planned to catch up this Saturday. It'll be so good to see her. I'm also making a big push to pull out Christmas decorations this weekend! We normally don't start pulling things out until the first week or two of December, but I want the cheer to start earlier this year. Even if I have to put our tree up alone, I will. We have to have a fake tree every year because my brother is allergic. I don't mind. Fake tree's can stay up all year if you wanted. The one we just bought last year is pre-lit. Ha.
