I don't know what it is about Zach and hurting himself, but he seems to transform back into a ten year old when he injures himself. He has no idea what to do, how to take care of it or keep a straight head even. Is that the way a lot of guys are?
So Lex drove me over and I booked it up to Clays apartment where Zach was. He had been drilling underneath Clays truck when the drill slipped. I guess it had enough time to flip over and the weight was great enough for it to stab him in the palm. It bled quite a bit but it didn't seem to be to bad. I cleaned it and tried to get as much dirt and grime out of it as I could before calling an advice nurse to see if he should get it sewn up.
Thankfully, the nurse said he most likely didn't need to. Just keep it washed out and clean and all that junk. She did suggest him getting a Tetanus shot, but I don't know how much those cost without health insurance.
I found out yesterday we don't qualify for any insurance help from the state. You either have to be having a baby, a single mother with a baby or a large family with no money. Wheres the sympathy for young adults who work and can't take enough classes?! I need to be a full time student to stay on my parents health insurance, but I can't afford to do that.
Oooh. It's exhausting being 21.
