Boyfriend broke my phone. He fell on it on accident and crushed the screen. Sigh...
It's still usable, but I bought that stupid phone no more than 3 months ago, and its broken. I am pretty peeved because it happened in front of his friends and he kind of put on a show to make himself look cool and funny.
Me: You owe me a new phone, ya know.
Him: What?! No way.
Me: Zach, it's not funny. You need to replace it.
Him: It's not even that broken! You can still use it!
Me: That's not the point! YOU broke it!! The least you can do is say you'll replace it.
Him: No. It was an accident and you pushed me onto it.
Insert HUGE frustration grunt here.
If I had done the same to his phone, he would have demanded the same thing. You almost expect someone who breaks something of yours to fix it or replace it. It's common courtesy, right?
I'm sorry if this makes me look bad. I more upset that he made it sound like it was nothing and he didn't care that its broken. I decided to go home to just be alone and blow off some steam, so he's still out and about now. Hopefully he has some time to think about it.

Omg, you totally have a right to be pissed! I'd be super pissed, especially if the phone was only 3 months old. He should have totally been more considerate of your feelings and take responsibility of his actions, even if it was an accident.
I hope that he realizes that not only does he owe you a completely functioning home, but an apology as well.
Boys can be so stupid and dense sometimes.
I feel you KBZ. I feel you.
When my wife and I were on our first date she was following me home when I went through a yellow light. It turned red for her and she got pulled over and got a ticket. I offered to pay it but she refused. We compromised on paying half each. Maybe you and Zack can come to the same compromise. Like Jess said he certainly should have been more considerate of your feelings.
